The only thing you are succeeding at doing is making Kate think she has an actual message on her own tumblr and then disappointing her mightily when she realizes it was just another person who did not know that The Broadway Diaries has not published anything for almost a year.

Okay, Broadway Diaries followers, this is Kate. If you’ve actually been watching the blog (AKA: how we haven’t posted anything in forever), you’ve noticed that … well, we haven’t posted anything in a while. This is both from a lack of motivation and a steadily increasing lack of time. I’m starting college. Kota is starting an important part of her life as well. It got stale and became more of a job than a fun hobby.
Really, it was fabulous working this blog while it lasted and the blog WILL stay up, but there will be no more new posts from myself or Kota. You were all extremely lovely and hilarious and awesome. We’d like to thank those of you who submitted (and the ones who submitted again and again and again) and those of you who have followed faithfully since day one.
Thank you so much to those who submitte (We got over 25 different icons). The favorite of ours was made by the ever fabulous http://starsintheirmultitude.tumblr.com/ and can now be seen as our icon. Watch tomorrow for new Diaries.
This would’ve been announced much earlier if I had remembered that we (Kota and I) had a 4 PM call for our show (WHICH OPENS TOMORROW!).

Tomorrow by noon central time is the final deadline for icon submissions! We’ll announce the new B-Way Diaries icon tomorrow at 5 central. Thank you so much to those who have already submitted! They’ve all been absolutely marvelous so far.
So, as you may or may not have noticed, our blog has had that dang anon face as the icon since we founded it. We considered a few options but nothing really looked like it belonged on our site. This is why we are asking YOU, dear followers and stalkers, to submit what will be our official icon for a good long while. We do ask that
- It be relevant to our site. No random badgers or TARDISes
- Be 64-64 or equal measurements (meaning we can size it down to that and it will still look pretty)
- Be your own work, no taking some shiz off of DA.
Kota and I will look at the submissions and pick one for our logo, the creator will be created under our site info! My new computer is currently in the shop (again) but entries should be back up soon.

So, we’ve received a lot of funny questions in the past few days (most of them being the “PRETTY SURE YOU’VE ALWAYS WANTED TO SEE ME NAKED” or “HEY RETARD, MAKE $$$$$”) but this one really amused us. Nope. We’re just really good friends who met two years ago and have been party-hardying it the thespian way ever since.
